Well, well, here we have evidence of one of our keen beans about to start her early morning training session. Carys and Mark were up and out this morning on a 9 mile run, and our Team Manager Frances has dutifully supplied photographic evidence so you can see we are our earning our sponsorship - although I am hoping Carys doesn't adopt the technique she is favouring in the photo on the day.
Carys came into this whole half marathon training not having run more than a mile - so I think the fact she got up early in the middle of the week to bash out 9 miles shows how much effort she has put in. Plus we still have 5 weeks to go so she is doing really well with her training. Have to admit Mark does look a little bemused by it though, maybe it was a restriction of his blood flow, those bad boys put the short in shorts. Bethan is promising to supply some photographic evidence too - well we're relying on it as she is out in Gibraltar, who knows what she could be getting up to. She assures us she has been going out on her training runs....but we need evidence!!
Ellie is temporarily out of action, the perils of having longer legs than most normal giraffes means that there is a bit more body to get injured and she is suffering with a calf strain. A little bit of rest though and those gangly legs should be back out on the streets.
HAHAHAHAHAH, Mark looks really ashamed of me!
